so when making your own kits,whats the best sampling program to use to slice up a audio sample

    Some will say Recycle(which is good if you are gonna pay for it, if it's a crack don't even bother) I would personally recommend Wavosaur. You can chop up your sample and export all the slices as individual files,....what more do you need? Audacity is pretty good as well,...but IMO it doesn't handle chopping as good as Wavosaur. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    i was thinking recycle,but is it worth the money? for that i might as well get sound forge or the adobe audtition.ill def check out the wavosular.i jus want to be able to chop up a sample and play with each cut up sample.what do yall use to make these kits

    Thanks for the tip ,I'll try Waveosaur ,I use Cool Edit Pro 2 (Adobe Audition) most of the time
    and Audacity others.
    I also like to chop a 2 bar loop onto 4-16 pads in Beat Maker.
