Problem with swing in BM 2.4

edited December 2012 in Support
For some reason I couldn't get the swing sequencer option to have any effect.
I'm using BM 2.4 and trying to "swing" a drum machine with a chopped sample.
Any idea why?
Thank you.

    Are you trying you trying to add swing before or after you lay down the sample? It sounds like your doing it after. Are you flattening the swing after you add it?

    I came across this problem too but I forget what I did to fix it. I'm not sure if it was a problem as much as an error on my part.

    I'm chopping the sample, laying the pads and then, after doing some listening, adding the swing.
    Is this not the natural way?
    Thanks.

    Yeah it is. I just tried it. I laid down the sample first. I then selected all the notes in the note edit screen, changed the swing to what I wanted and flattened it. Is this what you did?

    Yes - besides flattening it.
    User manual: "If the swing is not flattened, it will still be applied while playing but notes position on the grid will not be affected."
    It should work without "flatten swing" as well.

    I understand it is still applied but try flattening it to see if swing is actually being added since I'm assuming you can't hear it.

    With flattening or without - it doesn't work.
    Anyone else witnessing it (swing for drum machine track)?

    My fault... <!-- s:oops: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Embarrassed" /><!-- s:oops: -->
    It's working fine. I'm not even sure what that problem was.
