Two suggestions for v1.1

edited July 2008 in General
Fantastic app. You have a winner on your hands. Having a lot of fun with it. Two suggestions for next update:

- Master Volume slider on main settings page (i.e. not loaded with each kit or overwritten when you create a new project). These sample packs are LOUD - too loud I think, I wouldn't want to listen for too long at the default levels.

- Auto zero crossing points and a default 10ms fade in/fade out in the sample graphical editing screen. At the moment, if you truncate a sample, you get a big click at the end. Fully configurable ADSR envelopes would be great too but that's probably a bit too much to ask for a 1.1 version...

This app is going to grow I think... reminds me of the first time I saw the Reason beta on a PC and thought 'OK, so that's where it's all going... '

I second these requests and may I add on the request for preset swing settings?

I third these requests as I also have problems with volume levels using the iPod Touch !!

I would dearly love to have a Filter added to the FX rack too.

This is a fantastic app, much better than I thought it would be and definately worth the money.

Keep up the great work Intua and I look forward to the next update.

If everyone worked like those guys at Intua giving us a mobile touch screen production studio on our phones and iPods there wouldn't be any economic crisis in the world. Imean..20 bucks...I'd pay another 20 for some filters, different time measures on 1.1

zack, don't give them the impression that we would have actually paid more for it
But I agree, I hope they plan some cool feature additions for 1.1 and will charge for the update (well, I don't really hope they will but I would hate for Intua to go out of business.) Then again, maybe their business model is based on a large userbase and for that, a small price is the way to go.

    Great job Intua!!!!

    My biggest feature requests are:

    1. the ability to use different kits per pattern (having 16 sounds for the project is limiting)
    2. better envelope handling (as mentioned) I'd like the option of searching for a zero crossing or a smooth fadeout within the sample when I shorten it... would be useful for pads

Regarding FX.. let's remember, we're on an iPhone platform here.. I'd rather see them let us do much more of what they've given us rather than pushing the CPU to give us things like filters and reverb

bet that's it... with the wireless file sharing and projected online community being a huuuuuuge draw. I love the idea. Right on Intua!

I would definitely second the master volume request...

Carmot, I agree, but I'm trying to 'push' Intua team to add those 'pro' features and create a historic music platform...I mean..they're close..
