Bluetooth connectivity

I am having trouble connecting apple air pods to BM3. They work when using other apps but not BM3. I can hear them when using Apple Music, AUM, or mostly any other applications but as soon as I switch to BM3 I lose the Air Pods connection. Go back to other apps it is still working. Any suggestions.

  • Set measurement mode off in settings and restart BM3.

  • I went to settings but I don’t see anything for measurement mode anywhere.

Don’t see this anywhere in the settings. Neither advanced nor general.

Ive had the same issue connecting to a bluetooth car stereo, measurement mode made no difference, it was really strange, everything else worked but B3 lol.

Thank you sir. It worked. Hopefully it will continue to do so.

    Glad to hear that.

Seemed to have worked. We shall see if it continues. #MyLaugh

  • I tgink the car stereo was playing up because it had transport controls on the steering wheel, i could start a second app playing and then you would hear B3, it was so strange lol.

  • I also found that changing to 44.1kz got my Bluetooth audio back. Not sure if or in what way that’s related to the high quality mode

I really hate trying to compose in BM3 while I’m driving. Its so hard to get those notes into the timeline in the right spot with all the bumps in the road. It does tend to lead to happy accidents though.

  • I have the same problem.

    Measurement mode is already off.

But I can't change the output sample rate to 44.1k
It shows up, but if I tap on the 44.1k it jumps back to 48k.

Is there a setting in iOS 12.1 where I can change it for the iPad?

Using the external audio interface will change to 44.1k and it works.

    Update info:
The new iPad Pro 2018 only supports 48khz Audio Sample Rate. So with the new models, you can't connect Bluetooth Headphones to BM3 at the moment. That´s weird.

    Here the post:

In this post, they say, the app developers have to fix this.

And here the specs also say only 48khz (under TV and Video)

Please fix this. BM3 is not usable on the way. Only at home with my audio interface.

Hmm I can’t seem to swap to 44.1 either now though I am positive I had in the past.

I have the 2018 11 and I can use my Bluetooth headphones no probs. Certainly switching the high quality performance thing worked.

Maybe you can’t swap to 44.1 if you already have different sample rate samples loaded ?

  • Hi Groovey,
