do you know if the Bismark app has velocity. Everything I press is a hard note instead of something soft.
Yes, Bismark definitely supports velocity.
If you’re using the on-screen keyboard in BM3 make sure Velocity is ON, and pressing the keys nearer the top gives a lower velocity
