Recording Noir into pattern editor with audio veek

Hi is it possible to record the Noir AU sequence into b3 ms pattern editor, using audio veeks route tool? I have it on the noir pad but it doesn’t generate the pattern output ? When I try it on sunrizer too, it just silences the Synths output ? I followed 5pins video. @blueveek @winconway

    Put MIDI monitor after Noir, there is no MIDI being generated by it, no idea if that is a B3 issue or not.

    Just tested and B3 indeed does block all MIDI ouput from synth plugins.

    Load Ruismaker Noir in a host that supports MIDI AU properly (I used AUM)
    Turn on Ableton link.
    Route its MIDI to B3.
    Go to B3 and load a plugin.
    Set its MIDI input to AUM and you can get the MIDI that way.

    Thanks for that. I think I may just continue recording noir as audio into b3 instead though. I usually get a brain freeze if I have to start opening other apps outside of b3. Prefer it all self contained. Cheers tho
