Ok, if I'm understanding it correctly, I just loaded a Bm1 file, and realized that it can't be backward compatible because of the fundamental differences within the two sequencers.. But kits load fine as the structure of the pads are similar.. Make sure if its a sample you are looking for that you are not instead setup to look for a kit, cus then you wont see anything! It will be looking for kits files and samples files will not be visible..

Septimo, i got the folder to show up, delete them off Explorer then re uploaded them, i can now see the folders. but i still can't load the BM1 files, doesnt see them. But i can now see my kits but how do i load a whole kit? and not just the sample within the kit?
Make sure if its a sample you are looking for that you are not instead setup to look for a kit, cus then you wont see anything! It will be looking for kits files and samples files will not be visible..

First create an iDRM instument..
from there, it will take you into the [Kit] folders..hit the green arrow back to go to the top of the folders, and look for your kits in [My Content]
or
after hit creat and it takes you into the kit folder, then hit the [X] on the upper left side and exit out, tap the DRM instrument to enter it, then you can hit [LOAD PRESET] from within the DRM...
Go into it,[the Load project, then your project] and hit EDIT FILES... From there you can creat folders and subfolders, and you can also delete foldrs and files.. be careful here..

High light the track, and hit the yellow [X] tool at the top right.. before the tool icon..
Oh wait.. track settings right? If it's the only track, it won't delete, cus the instrument resides there..You'd have to delete the instrument from the home page. now if you add an extra track to that instrument, then those extra tracks can be deleted from the track settings page.. this is normal functionality..

are you sure that when you're in the DRM, you are at the [PRESET] icon on the top left? And not at the [SAMPLE] icon instead? if so you will only be able to see the the waves that are in the kits.. and not the kits.. Same as kadath..

If BM2 crashes, we suggest to reboot your device, it is likely to be a memory exhaust problem.
As for transferring new files into the app, you must use the integrated FTP server, as the internal
file database needs to be updated, which is done when exiting the FTP panel.
Btw, is there a way of seeing how much memory or cpu is being used see you don't get into a crashable situation?
Since I asking stuff, can you import MIDI?... I know you can export, so I was assuming vice-versa?

Been play with it since last night, and most to this morning. one thing i was wondering is can instruments be named? i.e, if i load up an empty drum sampler, on the home page it show the instrument as 1 in the left corner and empty instrument in the right corner. is their any way to name that empty instrument? i know it takes on the name of the 1st sample loaded but i would like to give it a name that makes it easier to find what i am looking for when i have multiple drum samplers loaded.

Im going to answer this but please put all further questions on the BM2 support forum.
1. On homescreen of BM2 select the mixer (its the knob icon up top)
From there you can raise the volumeof the different instruments. There's no real master volume as of now.
2. In the sequencer go to the sequence you wish to alter, then select the "auto" tab on the bottom right. From there find the fx you'd like altered and draw or select to your hearts content <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
3. As of now I don't belive you can save fx presets.

Well.. just downloaded. pretty awesome, seriously.
but ughh. tried to migrate all of my bm1 and samples over to bm2 and they all show up, but the projects are playing back all whacked out.. nothing is right.. sample lengths, tuning, all kind of stuff is messed up. it would be really really nice if intua has some sort of migration app or something in order move all of your stuff from bm1 to bm2. for me, i have tons of songs on bm1 that i would like to further develop in bm2. really frustrating. any ideas as to how i can seamlessly move to bm2 with all of my data, samples in tact from bm1? anyone?

By the way, for FTP, I was able to click the Bonjour tab in Cyberduck for Mac and it instantly saw my phone and I was able to connect.
