Thanks!
Now improved with double bass (32nd notes!) for that heavy(er) metal!

A static page of custom kits with download links is the first thing I want to put up. So let me know if you are interested in helping and I'll give you access.
Eventually I'll install wiki software so we can build a proper knowledge base.
Let me know if this is something that makes sense or what else would be more usefull.
We do have a forum here with tons of valuable information. But it is hard to find important stuff and that's where a wiki would be very helpful, I think.
Let me know and check it out:

I made an Amen Break BeatPack from samples downloaded from freesound.org (originally uploaded by VEXST - Thank you!)

you can create a wordpress blog
www.wordpress.com
called
beatmaker.wordpress.com
and then post user kits there too.
Carmot did exactly that and bought the domain www.ibeatmaker.com , I like the blog but am more fond of an easy to navigate list, this is what I have so far.
http://theblackpacket.no-ip.biz/beatmaker/
I Agree so far all the ones I have linked are on my server but also I have the link to the original forum post, hopefully they will update the forum post, but worst case the actual files are on my server. If anyone wants something removed they can simply contact me
The easiest method is to just type in the url for a Beat Pack server and connect directly from the beatmaker application on the iphone.
You practically ripped off the entire page, when you could've said "hey, this page also has a lot of custom kits: http://countsierackulasbeatshop.com/beatmaker-kits.html " and saved yourself a lot of copying and pasting.
nuff said.

Until a more official place is provided to share BeatPacks, PatchArena has created a download section for BeatMaker related files for users who want to share their files but don't have an easy webspace to host.

I'm working on the finishing touches of a few of my packs, that I'll probably upload later this week.
Cheers,
Chad
<edit>
Forgot to mention that you need to create an account (free) to upload files, this is to prevent spam.
Thanks,

Pretty basic drum kit with some effects but i think it's a valid one.
Tell me what you think about it
EDIT: Added a Bongo Pack

The only one I have currently is:
theblackpacket.no-ip.biz:3131/bp
If we keep a running list of these URL's, it makes it easy to add the server on beatmaker, it automatically saves it there, then occasionally check to see if new kits are up.
Thanks.
V
Ok I added all the kits from the Count.

I'm currently working on another bunch of kits and should be able to offer them up to the community pretty soon. it'll be an eclectic mix including some pretty dusty instrumental chops I've recently discovered while digging through an 8-track collection I was given... as well as some more drum kits to add to the lofi collection.
any feedback on what people are finding useful would be great, so feel free to PM me. not sure I'll be able to handle individual requests, but if enough people ask for the same thing, I'll get it out there for ya. peace.

The samples were taken from http://machines.hyperreal.org/manufactu ... nd/TR-808/
THey have tons of samples with different settings I just picked a good matched range so you had all the instruments at your disposal, only thing missing is the maracas I believe.
I'm going to try for tb-303 and tr-909 samples next
hope you enjoy them
