Import audio from Camera Connection kit to BM3

Hey guys is this possible do you know?

  • Nope! I asked this awhile ago, but there’s no external file management built into iOS as of yet. Here’s hoping in iOS 13...

Anyways, a few options have popped up that offer a third party solution. I have this thing:

    https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B019PY0OPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It allows for external hard drives and sd cards and the like

  • I use a wireless USB storage and also Network drives via WIFI, but Dropbox is still the best solution in B3, and there are hints it will get even more integrated too.

  • Related thread. https://intua.net/forums/index.php?p=/discussion/7206/transferring-wav-recordings-from-sd-card-to-bm3#latest

There are some possible solutions there. Since that thread, I’ve received the GeekGo Lightning SD card reader mentioned. Combined with its companion app, iUSB Pro (Free), it does work for transferring files. Of course you have to get them onto an SD or micro SD card first, but that can be done pretty easily since the adapter can also be plugged into other devices via USB.

  • Guys I have the Camera Connection Kit plus usb stick with some audio files on it so can I not transfer them with an app?

No, IOS doesn't support USB storage.
Plug the USB stick in to your router and do it via WIFI or buy a WIFI storage, 64GB USB stick with built in WIFI Router are fairly cheap.

But this was all covered in this very thread already, in reply, to you ?
