Thanks. The final minute of your track really blew me away. Makes me want to do a remix of your remix, at a higher tempo and with rolling dnb drums. Great work!
I'd love to know how you made those amazing sounds and textures in BM3. Sounds other-wordly.
certainly not my usual fare but I got thinking of butterflies in your stomach which led to a bit of ambient dread (TM new genre name).
Apps used in BM3: Soundscaper, Syntronik, Soup, Kosmonaut, FS Reverser Delay, DDMF Directional EQ, Italizer Echo, Alien Box, Objeq, iVCS3 Spring Reverb, Discord4, ADverb2, DubFilter, Dedalus, VirtualRoom, FAC Chrorus, FAC Transient, FAC Maxima, and Grand Finale standalone.
@tk32
Thank you.
Remix of the remix with dnb drums, now that sounds like fun
@denx thank you
I used roughrider2 for compression on a few tracks
then stock compression for sidechaining
Reverbs were Altispace and stock
Vocals had Bark filter to give then a little clarity considering
they were from mp3 and the final polish was
Audio Master all within Beatmaker, listening on stock Apple earbuds.
Yeah, I tend to be complex.
Listening to yours right now as I type.
I like the way you've sampled up the vocals.
Slightly greasy?, a touch more than that I reckon.
Nice work.😼
@ronji said: @nkdVKNG I don't see why not. Am I missing a reason that would be an issue? We generally submit exports, and sometimes there are videos, so I say go for it. It's all about the tune in the end!
thx Ronji. I was a bit confused as to what was the final submission requirement. Im uploading mine now.

It is most definitely C#/Db minor.
Funny thing is... I still totally ignored the key for my remix

@tk32 oh yeah!
@tk32 top class! Love when the chords hit. Proper.
@denx you have some really nice ideas going on here with the vocal chops and panning etc. Like it.

What does greasy mean (genuine question)
thx Ronji. I was a bit confused as to what was the final submission requirement. Im uploading mine now.
in Miami? it means grimy, messed up, vile personality
Yeah for a person here it means scumbag, just wondered what it means in the context of sampling.
Hope you all enjoy! Tried my best on the platform.
In context I took it to mean the way Denx had resampled the vocals.
I also wouldn't mind knowing.
@Audiogus
I really like the half tempo vibe.
Nice.
@nkdVKNG
Enjoyed that. Nice.
damn. you freaked the hell out that sample and it was so smooth and loved the track feel. Great mixing too!
It can also refer to grease, or as someone once said ‘any kind of lube’ll do’
Not necessarely to do with sampling😇
@Audiogus that is beautiful, hats off!
